With a lot of house foreclosures going on in the US, homeowners are left with no choice but to take these matters not sitting down but in court. Homeowners demand to produce the note in line with their belief that they were unjustly treated through unsatisfactory and surreptitious lending terms.
Many homeowners are decrying that lenders have extremely violated terms in the Truth in Lending Act and that they were made to sign in loans they could barely afford. Foreclosures in Chicago and Florida has been sending off people scared to lose their homes and now they are organizing themselves so that they could push lenders to "produce the note". Nice post. I like the part about produce-the-note. I live in Tampa and know one person he helped, and it actually worked. Well it did not work like some of the newspapers reporting, but they did get new terms that were very favorable and they were able to avoid foreclosure. It really varries by situation and probably the laws of your state on how far this goes. This site has all the videos they have done. Watch all the videos here:
