DR.SEUSS BIRTHDAY - Even a Grinch Would Greet DR. SEUSS

Today is the the birthday of Dr. Seuss. His real name Theodor Seuss Geisel and if he is still alive today he would be celebrating his 105th birthday! Although he's not a doctor in real life, Theodor Geisel was a writer, cartoonist and humorist. Who has grown up before the 1990s without knowing who Dr. Seuss was? If you haven't, your childhood would be incomplete without his amusing books!

The most famous work of Dr. Seuss was Cat in the Hat and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. In fact, it is recorded that more than 10 million copies of The Cat in the Hat have been printed and it is widely translated into more than 12 different languages. And How the Grinch Stole Christmas was made into a movie which starred Jim Carrey. So happy birthday to you Dr. Seuss and here's to hoping that the children of today would still know about you and your books!
