Kara Goucher is now on the lead pack in the 113th Boston Marathon. A 30 year old lady from Queen's New York, Kara Goucher had her debut in 2008 Beijing Olympics where she qualified for the in the 5000m and 10,000m. Right now, Kara Goucher is apparently trying her way to be the first U.S. female winner since Lisa Larsen Rainsberger in 1985 in this year's Boston Marathon.
It has been said that Kara Goucher has been training in Portland, Oregon. Kara has also previously won a bronze medal at the World Championships in Osaka in the 10,000m event. More updates about Kara Goucher and the Boston Marathon 2009 later.
