We are already at the brink of American Idol Finale May 19 (5/19/09) and the song spoilers are now out! Tonight, the theme will be as Ryan Seacrest revealed on
Friday’s Larry King Live:
- Round One - The Contestant’s Favorites – Ryan explained that this song will be chosen from the roster of their Season 8 performances. (Adam - "Mad World", Kris -"Ain't No Sunshine")
- Round Two - Simon Fuller’s Pick – The producers will choose the song. (Adam - "A Change is Gonna Come", Kris - "What's Going On")
- Round Three - The Winner’s Single - There is only one coronation song this year which will be composed by Kara DioGuardi (No Boundaries)
The winner's single is entitled as "No Boundaries", which was revealed in the in this Fox News report:
As I predicted, Adam Lambert will perform "Mad World" again. On the other hand, Kris Allen will be performing “Heartless” or “Falling Slowly”, where Falling Slowly is the most likely being picked. (UPDATE: Kris Allen will be singing "Ain't No Sunshine"). UPDATE: Simon Fuller picks a Sam Cooke original "A Change is Gonna Come" for Adam Lambert and a MArvin Gaye original "What's Going On" for Kris Allen. Carrie Underwood is also set to visit the American Idol stage tonight to perform “Home Sweet Home”.
