American Idol May 6 Results - Who Was Voted Off/Eliminated in Rock Week?

American Idol Rock Week defined Danny Gokey's waterloo over Adam Lambert. We'll definitely see him waddle in Bottom 3 on May 6 (05/06/09). However, American Idol pundits proclaim that it is Kris Allen who will be kicked out/booted off tonight. We'll see that later tonight!

The results show has started. Ryan does his blah – announcing that 64 million votes were cast last night. The new Ford Fusion commercial is shown featuring the American Idol Season 8 Top 4.

 

The Idol group performance featured their mentor Slash as they sang “School’s Out” by Alice Cooper.

 

Ryan interviews the Top 4. Adam liked his outfit last night, while Danny admitted that he laughed out loud when he heard his last note scream last night. At least, Danny admitted his shortcoming.

No Doubt is up next. They performed “Just a Girl”. I thought they would be dishing out a newer song. Wait! my mom has that same neon green brassiere. Anyways. (Watch No Doubt in American Idol video here)

 

Ryan announced that the American Idol Top 3 will be called in random. Oh my! Kris Allen is not going home – he is first to be sitting in the American Idol Top 3 seats.

 

Chris Daughtry is in the Idol stage again to sing their latest single “No Surprise”. His videos of prior stint in American Idol was shown. The look on his face being eliminated was priceless. I mean it who wasn’t surprised back then? It was one of the most horrible shockers on American Idol, after Danny’s last note “scream” last night. Kidding! No regrets, Chris! You’re even more successful than the American Idol who won – Taylor Hicks! (Watch Daughtry on American Idol video here).

 

Adam Lambert is the next one to fill in the Top 3 seat. Who will be safe – Allison or Danny? Danny is safe after all.
