After starring in the hit film Superbad, Michael Cera is indeed going places for his kind of geeky persona in films. His latest flick Youth in Revolt capitalizes again on this premise. In this film, Michael portrays Nicholas Twisp, a teenager obsessed with a hot girl named Sheeni Saunders.
So how can a hot girl like Nick who's geeky all over? He makes himself an alter-ego named Francois - a bad boy incarnate. Of course, Nick now takes Sheeni's attention but trouble soon hounds him through comedic outcomes. Portia Doubleday plays Michael Cera's ladylove in the film. Watch the Youth in Revolt preview below:
