Joining Susan Boyle and Diversity, 17 year old crooner from Lichfield Shaun Smith, was chosen over a 28 year old impersonator (a ventriloquist, actually) Gareth Oliver who's from Halifax. Previously, another dance group Flawless made the cut to qualify for the Britain's Got Talent (BGT) Finals slated on May 30 (this Saturday) after garnering the most votes among the eight performers in BGT Semifinals Show May 25.
It can be remembered that Shaun Smith sang "Ain't No Sunshine" for his audition, which gained BGT judge Simon Cowell's praise. This was reminiscent of Kris Allen's performance who eventually won American Idol 2009. Will Shaun Smith have the same fate on BGT?
