American Idol Season 8 Winner Kris Allen will be giving NBA fans a taste of his music as he will be singing the national anthem in the neck-and-neck battle for supremacy of Orlando Magic and Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Finals Game 2 this Sunday May 7 (5/07/09). Kris Allen is reportedly "very excited" of doing this gig as every American Idol winner has done an NBA Finals performance, with the exception of American Idol Season 3 Winner Fantasia Barrino.
After the tremendous defeat of Orlando Magic against the LA Lakers in Game 1 (100-75), Game 2 must be a spectacle to watch as Orlando Magic is expected to bounce back after Kobe Bryant stunned them with a 40 point contribution. A-list celebs are also gracing the Game 2 in Staples Center as they already bought front-row seats -Jack Nicholson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kanye West and more!
