Andrew Garcia is performing a signature Elvis Presley song "Hound Dog". Andrew discussed with Adam about being labeled as "boring". Adam Lambert showed him tips to own the song. However, it feels that Andrew Garcia failed to nail the song for me. It was kind of boring and the melody was slowed down.
Randy Jackson didn't like it because it sounded karaoke. Ellen DeGeneres thought the song needs a little more swagger but she liked liked it. Kara agreed with Ellen - they were expecting more from them because "it's Elvis". Simon thought it was a "lazy" performance and it didn't feel like a star performance.
