Blake Lively is Green Lantern Leading Lady

It's 2010 and Blake Lively is getting good breaks. She's no longer just Serena Van der Woodsen of the famous TV show Gossip Girl but she's up for an exciting role in the big screen. Blake Lively is no less than the leading lady in the Green Lantern film where Ryan Reynolds is slated to wear the green suit.

It's now confirmed that she will portray Carol Ferris who's a pilot and love interest of Green Lantern. That sounds more than a meaty role for her to join the ranks of Hollywood's top leading ladies. We're just too happy for Blake and surely we'll watch this film which is slated to be released on June 17 2010.

Ryan Reynolds: From X-Men to Drag Queen?

Ryan Reynolds is simply taking on all challenging roles to become Hollywood's next bankable actors. Apart from playing Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine and the next superhero flick Green Lantern, the hunky 34 year old actor is set to wear women's dresses in the film he will be starring in order to win his girlfriend back. The said movie is untitled yet but it has a scriptwriter already -- Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps writer Allan Loeb. No director is also named yet, but Ryan will be the film's executive producer.
Ryan Reynolds to Play Drag Queen
Sounds exciting, eh? After the unprecedented success of the romantic comedy The Proposal opposite Sandra Bullock, Ryan Reynolds is playing his cards right and might score big in this new flick. He also has pending projects like taking over Tom Cruise's role in Motorcade, after the Tom dropped out of the project to appear in Wichita. In Motorcade, Mr. Scarlett Johansson will be playing a role of a disgraced Secret Service agent. Whoa! Ryan really is eager to be a versatile actor with all the roles he's playing. That's good because Tom Cruise and Johnny Depp are already too old in taking Hollywood's leading men roles.
