American Idol Top 7 Says Good Riddance to Scott MacIntyre

American Idol Top 8 Results for April 8 2009 - Anoop Desai, Scott MacIntyre and Lil Rounds are in danger on the Bottom 3! Lil Rounds was declared safe and so as Anoop Desai! Scott MacIntyre sang Survivor’s “The Search is Over” , which was described by Paula Abdul as “screechy”, while Simon said he is atrocious with the guitar and the song choice!

It's so sad to see you go Scott! But the show needs to let go a contestant - which was supposed to be Lil Rounds! 

It was a CLOSE CALL of getting the judges' save privilege but it was just wasn't meant for you.

Oh well, I hope life goes on for you and you pursue your career in singing.

Scott MacIntyre April 7 "The Search is Over" American Idol Top 8

Scott MacIntyre strummed an electric guitar as he sang Survivor's "The Search is Over" performance in AI 4/7/09. Judges hated Scott's rendition - Paula thought it was "screechy" while Simon thought the guitar and song choice was uber "atrocious"! Will Scott MacIntyre get the boot tomorrow?

For me, Scott's performance tonight is different, but it was not that bad. At this stage of the competition, however, Scott MacIntyre needs some fireworks to keep up with the likes of Allison, Danny and Adam.

MICHAEL JACKSON SONGS - Scott MacIntyre "Keep the Faith"

There are many Michael Jackson Songs and I am not quite familiar with this piece performed by Scott MacIntyre. As usual, Scott was in his element performing "Keep the Faith" because he was playing the piano, which he was good at. Whatever Michael Jackson Songs Scott may perform, it is obvious that he can put a lot of heart in it.

Scott MacIntyre's Mandolin Rain and Lil Rounds Rev it Up for Group 3

Scott MacIntyre dominated the American Idol 8 Group 3 performances. Scott sung Mandolin Rain, originally sung by Bruce Hornsby. On the other hand, Lil Rounds emerges from the girls in Group 3 with her song Be Without You, a Mary J. Blige original.
