American Idol Top 3 May 12 (5/12/09) performance night is a few hours from now and everybody's eager to know what 2 songs will Adam Lambert, Kris Allen and Danny Gokey will be dishing out in the American Idol Final 3 Face-Off. Tonight American Idol May 12 theme, Kris, Danny and Adam will each be singing one song chosen by the judges for them and one choice is their personal pick. With time constraints in their hands given the homecoming tours and all, the American Idol Final 3 might just opt for a song that they've already performed before to save time for rehearsals.
A great song for Adam to perform again would be Tears for Fears "Mad World", which earned him a standing ovation from no less than Simon Cowell. For Kris, I guess a good performance he might want to duplicate was his "She Works Hard for the Money". Lastly, I could not remember anything better than Danny Gokey's version of Lee Ann Womack's "I Hope You Dance". As for the judge's choice for them, some reports have said that Adam Lambert is singing a song chosen for him by Simon Cowell, while Danny Gokey is singing a song chosen for him by Paula Abdul. These reports have yet to be confirmed.

Danny Gokey will perform a song chosen by Paula Abdul which is “Dance Little Sister” by Terence Trent D’Arby
Kris Allen will sing Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi's choice which is “Apologize” by One Republic
Adam Lambert will be singing Simon Cowell's choice which is “One” by U2.
For their personal picks, Danny sang Joe Cocker's "You Are So Beautiful", Adam picked "Cryin" by Aerosmith and Kris chose to sing Kanye West original "Heartless"
