American Idol Results April 22 - Who Was Voted Off in American Idol Disco Week?

The double eliminations tonight on American Idol April 22 2009 will surely tense out our Top 7 finalists. The disco theme revealed to be a toughie for everyone and after the voting last night, everyone might just be too eager to know who's going home later to leave the American Idol Season 8 Top 5. Will it be Lil Rounds and Matt Giraud? Or will it be another shocker wherein the likes of Allison Iraheta or Danny Gokey will be kicked off?

NOTE: LIL ROUNDS AND ANOOP DESAI WAS VOTED OFF!

Ryan Seacrest does the intros – there were 45 million votes cast last night! Paula Abdul choreographs the American Idol Top 7 finalists group performance. They do a Jackson 5 song "Shake Your Body", which was definitely HOT!

Now, Lil Rounds was called up by Ryan. Lil Rounds is in the BOTTOM 3!

Oops... Lil Rounds is VOTED OFF! She sings "I'm Every Woman" again.

 

The judges say they goodbye messages to Lil Rounds. Paula comforted her saying that “Lil, baby, you’re just on your way… just the beginning baby.” Simon said that she’ll definitely miss her family screaming for her, despite the bad decisions she made on the contest.

 

The disco icons perform – Freda Payne was first. Freda was a bit exhausted in her number because you could literally hear her panting. Thelma Houston was next singing “Don’t Leave Me This Way”. Then, KC of the KC and the Sunshine Band was intro-ed by Thelma. Watch their video here.

American Idol Predictions April 22 - Who Will Be Voted Off in American Idol Disco Week?

After the performance night comes our American Idol predictions of who will be voted off/eliminated on April 22 (4/22/09). American Idol Disco Week Performance Night has just proven what the Top 7 finalists have in store for us. A few performances were memorable like Kris Allen's and Adam Lambert's. The others were just verging on average and lackluster. Who do you think will land on the Bottom 3 of American Idol Disco Week?

In the Dial Idol predictions, they gathered that Allison Iraheta, Kris Allen and Matt Giraud got the lowest number of votes among the American Idol Top 7 finalists. Based on their data, Dial Idol presented that the two people who will be booted out/kicked off in American Idol Disco Week will be Allison and Kris. Essentially, Dial Idol predicted that none of them appears to be safe for Disco Week. Based on performance, the worst of the lot were Lil Rounds, Anoop Desai and Matt Giraud. Most people believe that Lil Rounds and Matt Giraud should be both be sent home on April 22. But, it seems in the Dial Idol predictions - Lil Rounds seemed to get the most number of voted tonight. Did the campaign of the Vote for the Worst (VFTW) pay off to make their bet stay?
