American Idol May 13 Results - Who Was Voted Off American Idol 5/13/09?

American Idol Results Night May 13 (5/13/09) will be kicking off in a few hours and I guess Danny Gokey and Kris Allen fans out there are surely nervous about their fate tonight. Although Adam Lambert seems to be included in the Final 2 next week, Dial Idol predictions blurt out that the votes cast last night are too close to call say that they know who will be voted off/booted out tonight. I guess it will be the biggest upset (like what as what Simon Cowell declared yesterday) if Adam Lambert will be leaving American Idol tonight.

My gut-feel was right Danny Gokey is Voted Off American Idol May 13. See Video Here!

There's sort of a comedic spin here. Ben Stiller does the opening and says that Ryan got into a bikini wax mash-up. Okay, that was a clincher... Ben is hyping next week's finals!

 

Ryan gets to do his hosting after all. There's 88 million votes cast last night! We hope you will send home the right guy! Imagine, only 1 million separate the one who's staying and the one leaving. Kris Allen is up next. Ryan calls him and they show his own hometown visit in Conway. Everybody's happy - Kris' dad is teary-eyed proud. Kris Allen gets to sing "Falling Slowly" again. Okay that was it!

American Idol Prediction May 6 2009 (05/06/09) - Who Will Be Voted Off?

American Idol is slopping off another finalist this week bringing down the number to the Final 3. After my two week hiatus, I am finally back in the game to determine who will be kicked off/eliminated in the Rock and Roll night. Last week was nerve-wracking for Adam Lambert fans, but this week he came out with a vengeance. The seemingly "invincible" Danny Gokey will definitely feel what it's like to be Bottom 3 tonight after that horrible, horrible, horrible (Did I say horrible?) last part of his rendition of Aerosmith's "Dream On".

Dial Idol predictions reveal that it's either Allison Iraheta or Kris Allen who will go home tonight. Yet, based on last night's performance, it is really Danny Gokey who nailed it baaad! That only proves the point that he's no Adam Lambert when it comes to shrieking high notes. Oh well, it's anybody's game so gird your loins for surprises. Kris Allen is the American Idol Season 8 Winner!

After being labeled as the "dark horse" among the American Idol finalists, 24 year old Kris Allen from Conway, Arkansas was declared the American Idol winner during the Finale May 20 (5/20/2009).

What would Adam Lambert fans feel? Google trends did not spell him victory. Everyone was just pimping him and it didn't work. Danny Gokey fans voted for Kris, so that may be a factor too.

American Idol Results April 22 - Who Was Voted Off in American Idol Disco Week?

The double eliminations tonight on American Idol April 22 2009 will surely tense out our Top 7 finalists. The disco theme revealed to be a toughie for everyone and after the voting last night, everyone might just be too eager to know who's going home later to leave the American Idol Season 8 Top 5. Will it be Lil Rounds and Matt Giraud? Or will it be another shocker wherein the likes of Allison Iraheta or Danny Gokey will be kicked off?

Ryan Seacrest does the intros – there were 45 million votes cast last night! Paula Abdul choreographs the American Idol Top 7 finalists group performance. They do a Jackson 5 song "Shake Your Body", which was definitely HOT!

The judges say they goodbye messages to Lil Rounds. Paula comforted her saying that “Lil, baby, you’re just on your way… just the beginning baby.” Simon said that she’ll definitely miss her family screaming for her, despite the bad decisions she made on the contest.

 

The disco icons perform – Freda Payne was first. Freda was a bit exhausted in her number because you could literally hear her panting. Thelma Houston was next singing “Don’t Leave Me This Way”. Then, KC of the KC and the Sunshine Band was intro-ed by Thelma. Watch their video here.

American Idol hopeful Danny Gokey "I Hope You Dance"

One of the front-runners of American Idol Season 8 Danny Gokey wowed the judges today in his rendition of "I Hope You Dance". Who sang "I Hope You Dance"? It's an original by Lee Ann Womack.

Danny Gokey was the guy who cried in the auditions in Kansas City because he just lost his wife that time. He is friends with Jamar Rogers. Both are rumored to be in the top 36 in the American Idol Season 8.
