Big Mike Lynche is definitely in his element tonight. Before his performance, Michael Lynche recounted the profound impact of his mom leaving them while he was still younger. Mike sang Rolling Stone's "Miss You". Quite tough singing it with a lot of vocal calisthenics and falsetto parts.
Of course, judges loved his performance. Randy thought Big Mike slayed the song, while Ellen exclaimed that it's a way to start off the American Idol Top 12 night. Yet, Simon Cowell disliked the dancing part. Watch Michael Lynche performance video in American Idol Top 12 March 17:
