American Idol 9 Top 24 - The Official 2010 24 Finalists Revealed LIVE

So far, we're not wrong about the spoilers we made in the American Idol 9 contestants list. We’re pleasantly surprised Big Mike is still there because rumors have been milling he’s been disqualified. Other than that, all other Top 24 people we’ve listed 3 weeks ago came out as expected. Except for two: Chris Golightly and Paige Dechausse! They Are replaced by Tim Urban and Paige Miles (same first name?).

Matt Giraud April 21 "Staying Alive" - American Idol Giraud 4-21 Video

After being saved last week, Matt Giraud tries to redeem himself by singing a Bee Gees original "Staying Alive" as his American Idol April 21 (4/21) Disco Performance. Randy obviously did not like the song choice or arrangement at all, but he praised Matt's singing prowess. Kara thinks Matt brought Disco back, while Paula was happy they made Matt stay last week. Simon was not happy with Matt this week as he did not like the performance and it was not original while it came across as a "desperate" performance to hold him in the competition.

Anoop Desai April 21 "Dim All the Lights" - American Idol Anoop Desai 04-21 Video

Anoop Desai wrapped up the American Idol April 21 (4/21) Disco Night with Donna Summer's "Dim All the Lights". Randy thought the performance was a bit rough -- but it was nice and it could be a song you could hear on the radio. Paula stated that Anoop looked fantastic in his new look, but Simon lashed out that the performance was "mediocre at best -- a worst performance by a mile". Ouch!

Allison Iraheta April 21 "Hot Stuff" - American Idol Allison Iraheta 4-21 video

Allison Iraheta had a Donna Summer original "Hot Stuff" in the American Idol 04-21-09 Performance. Randy did not like the arrangement but thought Allison is one of the best singers in the competition. Kara said Allison was right on the lane, while Paula though Allison was authentic. Simon felt that she is an underdog but she was brilliant.

Adam Lambert April 21 "If I Can't Have You" - American Idol Adam Lambert 04-21 Video

Adam Lambert sang an Yvonne Elliman original "If I Can't Have You" as his American Idol April 21 (4/21/09) Performance in the Disco theme this week. Randy proclaimed that Adam is the "hot one" tonight. Kara and Paula thought Adam was brilliant, awesome, most memorable performance and a slew of other praises. Simon said that the Adam Lambert If I Can't Have You version was unique and the vocals was "immaculate".

Danny Gokey April 21 "September" - American Idol Danny Gokey 4-21 performance video

Danny Gokey sang an Earth, Wind and Fire original "September" as his American Idol 04/21/09 Performance. Randy said Danny turned the song to work for him. Kara enthused that his pitch was marvelous. Paula also said she liked it and thought it was sexy. Simon negated them all saying that Danny was awkward and a bit clumsy.

Kris Allen sang a Donna Summer song "She Works Hard for the Money". American Idol April 21 (4/21/09) Performance. Kara liked the unique arrangement of the song. Simon thought the Kris Allen She Works Hard for the Money version was original -- it was not karaoke and it was a fantastic performance. Randy emphasized that Kris knows who he is. Wow, that was good and looks like Kris Allen won't be Bottom 3 tomorrow!

Lil Rounds sang a Chaka Khan original "I'm Every Woman" American Idol April 21 (4/21/09) Performance. Kara says Lil is every woman other than herself. Paula says Lil still did not hit the boiling point. Simon though Lil Rounds was so sad and said that it is a copycat performance! Wasn't good at all!

American Idol Disco Night 4/21/2009 - Who Will Reign Supreme?

After Matt Giraud was saved by the judges, the American Idol disco week is bound to emit tension among the among the American Idol Top 7 because two of them is due to be booted off. So there wouldn't be any Top 6 because next week you'll only see American Idol Top 5 finalists. Who will be the two unfortunate finalists who will be axed? American Idol predictions suggest that Matt Giraud, Anoop Desai or Lil Rounds will be in jeopardy if they still don't come up with a spectacular performance!

Definitely, the American Idol April 21 disco theme would suit well with Adam Lambert's repertoire. What fireworks would he come up with tonight?Adam Lambert has the pipes to do some Bee Gees hits. At this point, every contestant's song choice would be enough to help them stay in competition. American Idol Results April 1 2009 - Who was voted off? | Who got eliminated in American Idol 04-01-09?

American Idol Top 9 will be whittled down to eight tonight April Fools Day (1 April 2009)! Who will be voted off/eliminated/kicked out in 4-1-09? Who will be given the boot out? Will the judges use their save privilege? Oh well, predictions say that it is Megan Joy Corkrey's turn to be weeded out this iTunes week. Bottom three contenders include Anoop Desai and Allison Iraheta! Also possible to be voted off are Scott MacIntyre and Matt Giraud.
