Miley Cyrus Not Watching New Moon

Teen superstar Miley Cyrus is very vocal about her hate over the fuss that her fellow teens are pouring over the Twilight series. Miley insists that she doesn't believe in vampires and you can't even drag her to watch New Moon, Twilight's second installment. Ironically, Miley Cyrus recently signed with Twilight producers Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey to star in in Wings - fantasy movie which is similar in plot with the immensely popular vampire franchise.

Miley Cyrus explained that she does not get all the vampire craziness going on and why people got hooked with a simple story about a school girl who falls in love with a male vampire. The Hannah Montana star added: "I've never seen it and I never will. I don't believe in it. I don't like vampires. I don't like the wolf that pops out of the screen when I'm watching my TV at night. I don't like it. I don't want anything to do with it. I don't like the shirts. I don't like any of it." Although the 16 year old singer-actress feels "really lame" that everyone's excited over New Moon's scheduled showing this weekend, she said that: "I'm like, 'Don't even talk about it.'"

 

Maybe she's just jealous she's not in it. What kind of teenage girl would nor want to see Edward Cullen? Oh well, may be she likes her men toned like her ex-boyfriend Justin Gaston.

Miley Cyrus: 2009 Worst Celebrity Influence

Hooray for Miley Cyrus! She's got another thorn down her throat after Noah Lindsey appeared in a dominatrix Halloween costume! That's right, Miley Cyrus was crowned as the Worst Celebrity Influence of 2009 on an online poll from AOL. The 16 year old Disney tween queen gained a whopping 42 percent in the poll for AOL's JSYK.com (Just So You Know) website. This site is targeting 9 to 15 year-olds. Miley topped other celebs with "negative vibes" on the youth. Britney Spears is second to Miley, while infamous rapper Kanye West ranked third, respectively. Whoa! These kids really know who they should they look up to, don't they?

Although no reason whatsoever was given why Miley Cyrus ranked the poorest among the other celebrities in question, reports say that the negative vibes might have come from her dating a 20 year old Justin Gaston or her chinky eyed prank that was all well criticized by the public. JSYK.com editor Stephanie Cohen belives that "Miley is in an interesting space where she is trying to graduate from being 'Hannah Montana' and a Disney channel celebrity and coming into her own and having a career beyond Disney". Maybe it's about time to clean up your act, Miley. Or else, someone's literally gonna snatch up your fame like Taylor Swift or Katy Perry.

Noah Lindsey Cyrus may be just another child who's wearing her Halloween costume for the 16th Annual Dream Halloween party in Los Angeles. Yet, this 9 year old Miley Cyrus sister got the ire of critics because of the choice of costume she chose to wear – a sexy leather overalls, a whip and a cherry red lipstick. Many of them thought that her outfit as "trashy" and looking like a Lolita, a young temptress.

Why should a father like Billy Ray Cyrus allow Noah Cyrus wear a dominatrix costume for a Halloween party? Maybe his parental instincts might have just gone awry. Just imagine what type of outfits might she be wearing ten years later. The Cyruses never fails to amaze everyone with their chutzpah. To think that the event is a Halloween party that serves as a fundraiser organized by the US Children Affected by Aids Foundation.

Annie Leibovitz - Famous Photog Escapes Lawsuit

Annie Leibovitz has a lot to be thankful for today. For one, Art Capital Group has dropped a lawsuit directed at her for the $20 million loan she could not afford to pay. The Art Capital Group decided to extend the due date for the repayment of her gazillion loan and restructure the payment terms for the famous celebrity photographer. It was just last year that Leibovitz was caught up in this debt imbroglio as her intellectual property (photos) and even real estate assets came into jeopardy as she nearly set them up for collateral last year to be able to pay up all her debts.

CNN reported that although Leibovitz escaped lawsuit she has to let Art Capital Group be the "exclusive agent in the sale of her real property and copyrights". She still retains ownership of the iconic photos she had taken over the years. One of the most controversial photos by Annie Leibovitz (shown above behind her) was the undressed and very preggy Demi Moore posing for the cover of Vanity Fair in 1991. Recently, Leibovitz was accused of forcing Miley Cyrus to do distasteful poses that are too provocative for her age.

Zac Efron's "17 Again" Edges Out Miley Cyrus' "Hanna Montana" in the US Box Office

Zac Efron unleashes his box office muscle against Miley Cyrus and stopped her movie from dominating the box office for the second week. Zac Efron movie "17 Again" garnered $26 million on its first day. This edged out Miley Cyrus flick "Hannah Montana: The Movie" from the top spot this week with $15 million this week (it had made $32.3 million already last weekend).

The Hollywood Insider feels that, although the film plot of "17 Again" is so overrated -- thanks to Zac Efron his "legions of fan...should make this movie No. 1". So it's necessarily a battle of the tween movies this weekend -- so if you're an adult you should keep away from those theaters unless you'd want to sit beside those giggling Disney fanatics. Anyhow, at number 3 spot is claimed by "Crank: High Voltage" with Jason Statham. You can see the US Box Office List here.

Billy Ray Cyrus Defends Miley From Jamie Foxx Diss

Miley Cyrus gets backed up by dad Billy Ray Cyrus about the Jamie Foxx diss she received on the award-winning actor's comedy radio show Foxxhole. In Billy Ray's guesting in The Bonnie Hunt Show to be aired tonight April 16, he quipped that Jamie's comments about his daughter was "hurtful but "there wasn't nothing funny about it".

Billy Ray thought that Jamie went overboard in his comedic efforts that he thought if Billy would say " those things about his daughter he might not find it so comedic" at all. Miley's dad offered no sympathy for Jamie Foxx, even if he already issued an apology during his appearance The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. The lead star of the movie The Soloist reasoned out in the Jay Leno show that:

I am a comedian, and you guys know that whatever I say, I don’t mean any of it. And sometimes, as comedians, as we do, we go a little bit too far. I have a radio show… We’re really the black Howard Stern. We go at everybody. There was a situation with Miley Cyrus, and I just want to say, I apologize for what I said. I didn’t mean it maliciously. You know I’m a comedian. You know my heart. Miley, I apologize, so I’ll call you. I got a daughter too, so I completely understand.

Jamie, the gums comment was hilarious enough and you should have stopped there. In most peoples' eyes, Miley Cyrus is still a 16 year old girl!

Jamie Foxx Disses Miley Cyrus - "The Girl With All the Gums!"

Academy Award-winning actor Jamie Foxx is clearly clueless about Miley Cyrus. In Jamie Foxx's radio show titled Foxxhole on Sirius, Foxx and his cohorts were talking about Radiohead and Miley's name popped up in their conversation when a caller in the radio show mentioned how the famous band denied Miley's yearning to meet them during the Grammys. Ouch! So, there... then Jamie Foxx innocently asked, "who is Miley Cyrus?" Then the rest is just so hilarious! Listen to the radio clip after the jump.

As the world insists that Miley Cyrus is the new Teen Queen, Jamie Foxx tagged Miley as "The Girl With All the Gums" -- groundbreaking! Foxx even added salt to injury when he said that Miley should get a gum transplant or something. Well, at least, Miley Cyrus is still sober -- for now!

Miley's "Hannah Montana: The Movie" Bashhhed by Critics

Miley Cyrus should be hearing ka-chings here and there as the Hannah Montana: The Movie is unstoppably pulling tweens into theaters since April 10 -- its opening day. Although Miley and her minions are happy and proud about their film -- most critics are cringing at Hannah Montana's big screen debut.

The US Magazine compiled these harsh words from critics. San Francisco Chronicle has this to say about this new Miley Cyrus foray:

Even as adults give their blessing for prepubescent moviegoers to see the film, they should be plotting to stay as far away from the theater as possible...If you're no longer old enough to carry a Hannah Montana lunch box, this movie will feel like punishment.

The Washington Times has no kind words for the film: "Hannah Montana: The Movie isn't exactly high art, but that's not really the point, is it? Fans of the series will find much to enjoy here. Their parents? Not so much." The New York Post compared Hannah Montana: The Movie to be a poor copycat of the Reese Witherspoon film "Sweet Home Alabama", while Salon.com observed that the short cameo appearance of Taylor Swift in this movie upstaged Miley Cyrus

Oh well, Miley... You can't appease everyone! As long as your tween fans are gobbling up whatever you are doing, I think it's fine. Just drop those Salmonella-laced peanut butter granola bars you're endorsing, alright?

Miley Cyrus Dethrones Britney Spears as Tween Queen

Yesterday, Britney was the "It Girl"... the "Queen B" -- the Tween Queen! Now, Miley Cyrus had allegedly dethroned her according the new PopEater.com survey. The NY Daily News reported that nearly 32 percent of teenagers who were surveyed agreed that Miley of Hannah Montana fame is their favorite idol -- although 10 percent did not necessarily agree that Miley Cyrus is a good role model!

Britney Spears just got a measly 4 percent vote as she is still now still recuperating from her scandalous setbacks before. Miley Cyrus Roots for Allison Iraheta in American Idol 8

Controversial singer Miley Cyrus had revealed who's her favorite among the American Idol 8 finalists. Miley beamed that it's 16 year old American Idol belter Allison Iraheta who's from Los Angeles California. This was Miley's answer when Ryan Seacrest asked her last April 2 Thursday in a radio interview, she exactly stated: "Allison [Iraheta]'s my favorite! I've been texting with her."

Miley Cyrus will be appearing in American Idol next week April 15, wherein she will appear in a pre-recorded (taped) performance of her newest single "Climb". Aside from Allison, Miley also noted about Adam Lambert "Adam said I looked gorgeous, which was nice!" Well, we just hope Miley's BFF-ing Allison Iraheta won't jinx her to be booted out next week in American Idol Top 8 performances. Last time Allison was in the Bottom 3 and I just hope she performs well on Songs From The Year They Were Born theme!
