All over the Internet today, Rihanna's abuse photo, which was released by TMZ.com, is gathering up lots of blog space. Even the police is hunting down who initiated this photo leak because in their statement: “The Los Angeles Police Department takes seriously its duty to maintain the confidentiality of victims of domestic violence. A violation of this type is considered serious misconduct, with penalties up to and including termination.”

Too bad for Chris Brown, his apologies seem pointless because of the distraught countenance of a rising diva is seen bruised like a fruit that fallen off the road. This Rihanna photo is not merely a campaign to put down a man like Chris Brown, but it is a reality that the world should know about. Abuses like these are likely to happen and is happening within our midst.

The difference is that Rihanna not only an ordinary woman, but a famous celebrity. This Rihanna picture seems to offer a thousand words -- a grisly reminder of how many other girlfriends/wives/lovers have suffered the same fate. Mur32d3r charges for Chris Brown may teach him a lesson, but what is important is that more men should realize that their fist are not for their ladies' faces.

Anyway, according to TMZ.com, that photo was taken during the investigation. To verify the authenticity, Rihanna's tattoos gave away that the woman on the photo is indeed the famous singer who popularized songs like "Umbrella", "Take" a Bow and "Disturbia". Later we will gather updates regarding when will Rihanna speak up regarding the incident. Chris Brown already gave his statement, so Rihanna's voice is the one we're waiting for.

Okay the first group of 12 from the American Idol Top 36 already did their performances yesterday. Most were just so-so, but good performances were seen from Danny Gokey, Anoop Desai, Michael Sarver, Alexis Grace and the obviously reserved Tatiana del Toro. However, only 3 will make through the American Idol Top 12. Who made it through and who got voted off American Idol?

Nah, nobody got voted off just yet but three were named for an assured spot in the American Idol Top 12. First up was a surprise for copping a spot in the American Idol Top 12 -- Michael Sarver. Next is Alexis Grace and finally who would contest the inclusion of Danny Gokey? Oh well, Anoop Desai should gear up for the American Idol wild card round.

Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia: Welcome to Splitsville!

It's official! Heroes heartthrob and hottie Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia are now going on separate ways because of their "lifestyle conflict", according to Usmagazine.com. Although the reports indicate that the two co-stars are still in "friendly terms", Hayden and Milo reiterated their differences overshadowed their similarities.

As we all know, both stars are self-confessed vegetarians and they both have names that are difficult to spell, but the 12 year gap (Milo is 31 and Hayden is 19) between them may have caused the collision in their lifestyles. For instance, Hayden likes to party and go out with friends, while Milo is fully concentrating on his career and production company. Nevertheless, the two will still be seen as niece and uncle in the series Heroes on NBC.



Oh well so much for that! In the last episode of Heroes entitled "Building 26", it seems there's a blooming relationship between Claire (Hayden) and a comic book attendant who can breathe under water. American Idol 8: Last Year a Stripper, This Year An Ex-con

Enough of Joanna Pacitti saying bye-bye to her Idol dreams as she was replaced by Felicia Barton, it's Jessica Langseth's turn to steal the spotlight.

Remember last year when a male contestant (the third David - David Hernandez) had photos of him distributed over the Internet while h worked as a gay stripper? This year, we have an ex-convict as TMZ revealed that Jessica Langseth, a 26 year old native of Minneapolis was charged with DUI (Driving Under Influence) and was actually incarcerated for 4 days and was put under probation for 2 long years. TMZ learned that her probation was ruled out unexpectedly last December -- and that's why we see her scot-free singing her heart out for American Idol 8.



Jessica Langseth auditioned in Kansas City, Missouri and is rumored to be a "planted" contestant as she is the sister of the blues singer Jony Lang. Before American Idol, Jessica Langseth was known as Jesse Lang who already won Best Female Vocalist in the Minnesota Music Awards last year. Obviously, Jessica just changed her hair and she thought nobody would recognize her.

Rumors Abound: Is Jennifer Hudson Pregnant?

Again the gossip-y whispers are buzzing around Dreamgirls star Jennifer Hudson. She's pregnant -- this rumor is sprouting out from nowhere. This gossip has been going on since October last year and the rumor-mongers were surely not right as we can see from Jennifer's flawlessly un-preggy figure from last Grammy's. She was also one of the awardees in the 40th NAACP Image Awards Thursday night. She looks slimmer, right?


However, Jennifer is still very okay with boyfriend David “PunK” Otunga and in fact plans to get married are brewing but still not confirmed. Her pregnancy or not is still a question that needs to be answered by her. Nothing is confirmed yet, until we hear it straight from Jennifer's agent of herself.

Mandy Moore Engaged to Rocker Ryan Adams

Twenty four year old singer and actress Mandy Moore is now officially engaged to her fiance Ryan Adams.  This news came after an announcement was made today by Mandy's representative Jillian Fowkes who confirmed the veracity of Ms. Moore's engagement to alternative singer/songwriter Ryan Adams. In fact, Mandy was seen shopping earlier today, with Ryan, wearing the fabulous engagement ring in a Los Angeles grocery store as some on-lookers reported.

This news came as a surprise because the couple have had an "on and off" relationship since December 2007 when they first met. They announced they were a couple March last year and they broke up in July. The first news of them going back to each other's arms was just last week and now Mandy and Ryan are engaged.

Mandy has been rumored to have romantic links with DJ AM -- whom she briefly dated again after his near-fatal September 2008 plane crash, Zach Braff, Wilmer Valderrama and Andy Roddick. On the other hand, 34 year old Ryan Adams once dated Parker Posey.

The couple have not yet announced their wedding date. Mandy will be busy with her next album, Amanda Leigh, which will be released this May.

Jonas Brothers, Mad Dog Russo Guests on Letterman Show

The "Lovebug" crooners are gracing The Late Show with David Letterman tomorrow night February 12. The Jonas brothers Kevin, Nick and Joe are scheduled to saddle up in their first late-night talk show appearance after their successful Grammy performance last Sunday. Chris Russo, otherwise known as "Mad Dog", is another guest who will visit David Letterman tomorrow night.

After his Mad Dog Unleashed, the sports talk star Chris "Mad Dog" Russo had just been given by Sirius XM a new all-sports talk channel airs live nationwide 24 hours a day on Sirius channel 123 and XM channel 144. The Sirius XM channels by Mad Dog Russo will also feature sports talk veterans like Gary Williams, Bruce Murray, Bill Pidto, Andy Gresh and Larry Krueger.

Forbes Tag Will Smith, Angelina Jolie as Most Bankable Stars

After a comprehensive survey of movie industry experts, Will Smith topped the Forbes list by scoring a perfect 10 in his Star Currency cumulative score.

Will was followed by Johnny Depp and Leonardo DiCaprio. Hollywood power duo Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, joined Depp and DiCaprio by scoring of 9.89, making it a quadruple tie for second place.

The purpose of the Star Currency list is to estimate "the financial clout of Hollywood stars to get movie projects going". Forbes accounted to ask "more than 150 entertainment industry professionals, including producers and directors" to make their list as credible as possible. The whole list can be seen here.

The youngest stars in the top 50 are Transformers star Shia LaBeouf (22 years old) at the 33rd spot, while Keira Knightley (23 years old) at the 42nd spot.

Rihanna and Chris Brown Saga - Assault, Infidelity and Herpes?

And the saga continues with the Rihanna-Chris Brown Scandal. Rumors are spreading that it was indeed Rihanna who called the LAPD to arrest Chris Brown for assault and felony.

Nineteen year old Chris Brown is now out on bail for $50,000 and Rihanna's publicist informed that the diva is doing well since last night. It is still unconfirmed yet officially that Rihanna was the one assaulted, but in a report by TMZ, the name of the woman who was assaulted was Robyn Fenty. In fact, Rihanna's name in real life is Robyn Fenty. And how old is Rihanna? She's just 20 yeras old. Recent news from their website also revealed that the injuries assumed by Rihanna, as described by the authorities, are "horrific". Her injuries include "major contusions on both sides of the singer's face -- there is serious swelling and bruising. Her lip is split and her nose bloody. We have now confirmed there are bite marks on one of her arms and on several fingers".

Another speculation that is circulating all over the internet is that Chris Brown beat the daylights out of the diva because Rihanna gave Chris Brown herpes. Rihanna's STD was reportedly given by an unknown rapper, but the name of Jay-Z is popping out. Nothing is official yet and everything are just rumors and speculations. Val Kilmer Batting for New Mexico Governor?

Envying the success of Arnold Schwarzenegger in California, another Hollywood actor is seeking a top government position in New Mexico. You heard it right, Val Kilmer might just take the shot to become the governor of New Mexico in the 2010 elections.


The 49 year old registered Democrat sent this hint, according to the reports of Associated Press, that he has been pondering to contribute something in New Mexico. He said that, "and if that ends up being where I can make a substantial contribution, then I'll run."



Kids, if you do not know Val Kilmer, he was Batman in Batman Forever and he was the other cute guy Iceman in the 1980s hit Top Gun, opposite Tom Cruise. However, recent photos of him strewn over the Internet shocked people of his weight problems in 2007.

Simon Cowell Shrugs Off Gay Rumor

As the Hollywood Hell Week breaks loose tomorrow on American Idol Season 8, the most critical judge on the series granted an interview with UK Daily Mail that denies he is a raving closet queen.


In the article, he bluntly shrugged off the question about his sexuality:

Of course, there have long been rumours, which just won't go away, that Cowell is gay.

this business, if you were gay it wouldn't be a problem, would it? It

Lindsay Lohan Gets Flour Bath

You heard it right, after that lesbian fracas with Samantha Romson .. America's scandal sweetheart gets another headline-grabbing attention as she got doused with a heap of flour upon entering the VIP Room of the Champs-Elysees in Paris, France around 1 AM on November 15, Saturday.

The flour bath was courtesy of a screaming animal activist who was peeved of Lindsay Lohan's fetish for fur. Not content with the flour throwing at Lohan's head, the animal activist even yelled at her "Fur Hag!" in front of shocked onlookers.

Lindsay Lohan's name was in the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) Worst Dressed List early this year. As she was publicizing her love for fur, her infamous citation in the PETA list read: “I Know Who Killed Me isn’t just the title of Lindsay Lohan’s latest bomb, it’s the cry of the animals snuffed out so that this ‘mean girl’ can pose in their pelts. Lindsay, there’s no road to recovery for the foxes who are anally electrocuted so that you can look skanky” (PETA.org).

Lohan's publicist confirmed that this incident happened and she refused to discuss the matter any further.

The New Guy in Gossip Girl

With nothing good to blog about, I might as well introduce to you the new guy in Gossip Girl Season 2. His name is John Patrick Amedori, 21, who previously appeared as the young Ashton Kutcher in the movie The Butterfly Effect.

His role in Season 2 is Aaron Rose, an artist who later became Serena's (Blake Lively) new eye candy. His character first appeared in the episode "Pret-a-Poor-J", where Serena and ex-boyfriend Dan met him in an art gallery. It turned out that Serena and Aaron met before when they were kids because they went to summer camp together.

In last Monday's episode entitled "Bonfire of the Vanity", Aaron surprised Serena by letting her see herself in a giant video billboard. Smitten by all that sweetness, Serena kissed him in the middle of Times Square!

Back to Serena and Aaron, problems arose when Serena discovers that she wasn't Aaron's only muse! Serena met a man later in the evening and was shocked that this diminutive old man Cyrus is Aaron's father. Cyrus, in turn, is the new beau of Blair's mom. Can you believe that?

Oh how I miss the old scheming Blair (Leighton Meester), now that she's smitten with Chuck (Ed Westwick) and preoccupied by acting like a "lady" now... everything became a bit boring. Let's wait next Monday because it's their Thanksgiving episode and things are heating up because Cyrus is moving in the Waldorf household and peeving the hell out of Blair as he is destroying all their family's accustomed traditions. Brad on Security Guard Groping Incident

When other people are longing to be touched and embraced, some would not even wish they were Brad Pitt for a day. As the dashing Angelina Jolie husband was attending a Los Angeles screening of his newest movie The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, legions of screaming fans and paparazzi could not bear containing themselves from laying hands all over him.

So this security guard groped, pushed and spun him around like he was a handbag being swerved away from petty snatchers. Despite the brash treatment, Pitt maintained his gentlemanly demeanor throughout the ordeal.

Brad had no qualms with that as it is "just another day in the life". One photographer was even surprised at the intensity of protection because Brad was not mindful having his pictures taken upon arriving half an hour early at the Bruin Theater in Westwood.
