Hugh Laurie Peeved with House Storyline Leaks

Playing as the the grumpy doctor with a limp on TV is no joke, but Hugh Laurie is even more annoyed as the storyline for his popular TV show House is being leaked by an unknown insider. In an interview, Laurie bared his disappointment: "It's a bit upsetting that someone in our midst who we think of as a friend and ally is selling us out."

Just recently, everyone was caught aware that Jennifer Morrison, who has been in the show since it premiered in 2004, because of the leak that spread like wildfire. Hugh lamented that "Jennifer made the point that this show represents about a fifth of her life. For me it's more like 1/200th - but it's still emotional." Don't worry, Hugh! You're still a popular "heartthrob" according to your co-star Jesse Spencer. Spencer, who is Dr. Robert Chase in the show, explained that Hugh is popular because "advantage of places like the States that did not have a preconception of who he was. They can place him in a role like that without being worried about what an audience would think because most people weren't aware of who he was."

TR Knight Leaving Grey's Anatomy - Season Finale Spoilers

George O'Malley, the role played by actor T.R. Knight, is certainly leaving Grey's Anatomy as his character is seen to be enlisting to fill a job as a trauma surgeon bound for Iraq. Yet, the mild-mannered O'Malley never made it as he was struck by a bus saving an unknown woman by its path. That's a clincher that it's the last time we'll see T.R. Knight - in Grey's Anatomy Season 5 Finale.

It seems that T.R. Knight has been unhappy about the show, since way back the time when an anti-gay slur was allegedly made to him by former Grey's co-star Isaiah Washington. It appears that Grey's Anatomy took so long to condemn Washington's behavior that T.R. Knight felt bad and he wants out of his contract in the series to move on. Other Grey's Anatomy spoilers is that Izzie, role played by Katherine Heigl, comes also in jeopardy after her brain tumor surgery. Amazing Race 14 Winner – Tammy Jih and Victor Jih

Amazing Race Season 14 proved to be an emotional finish for brother and sister tandem Victor Jih and Tammy Jih as they emerged the winners in the said reality show. Who won Celebrity Apprentice 2? Well, comedian Joan Rivers edged out poker star Anne Duke. Duke was the last one fired in the May 10 finale of Celebrity Apprentice 2, where both women were commissioned to organize a charity fundraiser.

Joan Rivers emerged victorious over 16 hopefuls as Donald Trump chose to fire Duke in the boardroom session after failing to come up with a successful fundraiser activity. Duggar Family - Another Duggar Coming Up for the Family in "18 Kids and Counting"

The Duggar family made headlines as they starred in a reality TV show "18 Kids and Counting" on TLC. Now, a 19th new family member is going to be welcomed in a few months as the eldest son, Joshua who's 21 years old and his wife Anna are expecting a baby of their own. Joshua Duggar was ebullient over this great news as he beamed in PEOPLE interview that he's very "excited" to learn "new ways every day" of how he can be there for his wife. Joshua Duggar, who married Anna in September 2008, also said that, "I thought that she would be the only one going through the emotions of pregnancy, but I'm right there with her."

As the heads of the Duggar family, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are also thrilled about this new prospect. Jim Bob said that "We are really excited about being grandparents. We think it is really going to be easier than being parents." Joshua's wife Anna had been given a crash course by Michelle as she told her "to eat small meals frequently during the day to get through the morning sickness". Showbiz News Ngayon: All Meat, No Fluff

Two days after the pilot of episode of Boy Abunda and Kris Aquino's newest showbiz-oriented talk show, it is certainly hitting all the right marks to raise the bars of what entertainment shows should achieve. Getting the peg out of US show like E! News or Daily Ten, the viewers can enjoy all showbiz news without the hosts bugging you with their endorsements and greetings/gratitude to every Tom, Dick and Harry.

Compared to The Buzz, Startalk and Showbiz Central, all these three shows are guilty of over-hyping their topics when in fact those are old news already (All that shouting in each gap to commercial annoys me: Susunod! Abangan!). It's a total waste of time, if you ask me! SNN hosts Kris Aquino and Boy Abunda are acting like they are professional news anchors here. This approach gives a semblance of authority to them than what they regularly do in The Buzz.

Plus SNN's content is quite aggressive because they ask the most controversial questions without hesitation. The exclusives are such gems like the Willie Revillame interview and Nina's revelations. What is just disturbing is that some issues like stars flaunting on their most expensive bags and luxuries. I don't see anything wrong with it, but when majority of the land is in poverty... it seems not ethical to do that. Of course as Boy Abunda expressed that "luxury is the child of hard work", would it be more right to contribute to Bahay Kalinga to be able to build houses for the homeless rather than having a 1 million peso-worth hand bag? That's just a point to ponder, anyway.

All in all, SNN is off to a good start. It is up to them to maintain the impact of their new format. Of course, all the exclusives should be worth the wait amid all the teleseryes before it.

Did Seth Binzer Expire of Cardiac Arrest?

What is the real score in the rumor that Seth Binzer had cardiac arrest or is it just another false alarm? Seth Binzer (also known as Shifty Shellshock and Epic) is the lead vocalist of rock band Crazy Town (Crazytown). The 34 year old Seth "Shifty" Binzer became one of the 9 contestants on the VH1 TV show Celebrity Rehab. It is a show where celebrities will try to lead on a new life by living clean and sober.

However, viewers of the Celebrity Rehab show were surprised as Seth was missing last week. The next episode was spent on other participants trying to find him and finding out that if he had overdosed. Then, rumors started milling that Seth died after cardiac arrest was sent out of life arriving at a hospital.

As of this time, nothing can be confirmed yet as everything are still speculations and hunches. More updates will be made here later.

Felicia Barton Snatches Joanna Pacitti's American Idol Top 36 Spot

It might not just be Tatiana del Toro who's giddy with exuberance and excitement after all. It turns out that Felicia Barton (photo above), 26, who's both a mom and bar singer has all the reason to rejoice to high heavens. Barton auditioned in Louisville Kentucky and she got the slot left by Joanna Pacitti. Joanna was later found to be "ineligible to continue in the competition" because of impropriety.

In their American Idol website, under the names of the 2009 Top 36 was this: "[EDITOR'S NOTE: It has been determined that Joanna Pacitti is ineligible to continue in the competition. AMERICAN IDOL contestant Felicia Barton has replaced Ms. Pacitti as part of the Top 36]."

Many speculations have sprouted from everywhere because Joanna has a standing record deal. This might have been the cause of the dispute why AI producers have chosen to disqualify Joanna Pacitti. Here is Joanna's audition video:

It has also been revealed that Felicia Barton, the replacement, has been a contestant last year but did not make it through the Hollywood round.

Mark Herras Moves On

After being lambasted black and blue by a starlet named Lian Paz about his masculinity, Mark Herras moves on with his life. Valentine's day is up and coming and he revealed that he has no date yet.

However, his happiness is still not waned by being loveless on February 14 because on February 16, his tandem with Jennylyn Mercado will make a grand comeback via an afternoon series in GMA 7 entitled Paano Ba ang Mangarap. Indeed, it is more reason for him to celebrate because many of their fans are dying to see them working together as a love team again. Their tandem was last seen in an episode of Dear Friend.

Many things are in store for the fans in this afternoon soap because Mark assured that Jennylyn and him will tackle more adult roles. It means they will be more sexier and less teenybopper, the way they used to before. Plus, a great addition to their teamup is Hero Angeles, who will stand as Mark's competition to Jennylyn's affections.

We can just hope that Mark Herras will continue to improve his craft and his physique so that he can match up the hunky competition around him in reel and real life.

Kian Kazemi Disappoints Cristine Reyes

Kian Kazemi has been in the news lately because he revealed to the press that he's courting Cristine Reyes. However, the rising young sexy actress did not like Kian's admission about sending flowers and cake to her. Cristine said that if Kian's intentions are for real, he doesn't have to file a press release about it.






Anyway, Kian is part of the Eva Fonda cast. He is also one of the trippers in the travel show Trip na Trip seen every Friday after Bandila. Aside from showbiz stints, Kian is also a budding businessman as he owns a Persian grill restaurant. From the looks of it, Kian has the body and looks to make it big in sexy movies. With a little workshop in acting, he can easily snag sexy roles in indie films. However, Kian says he's still not ready for sexy roles. We'll just have to wait for that, huh?

Jake Cuenca and Alfred Vargas Blind Items

It is quite intriguing why Jake Cuenca (in ABS-CBN) and Alfred Vargas (GMA) never fails to grab the most coveted projects in their respective networks. Is it the workings of their influential managers, a streak of luck, their unparalleled talent or is it much deeper like "giving in" to the indecent proposals from the top executives of their networks?

Being the top two networks of the Philippines, gaining plum roles in ABS-CBN and GMA is mainly a product of two things: fame and "connections". If you don't have one of those two criteria mentioned then budding actors would have to resort to taking minor roles. Or worse, become one of the "frozen delights" awaiting for a dearth of projects to be given to you.



In ABS-CBN, it is quite a wonder why such big projects like Palos is given to a newcomer like Jake. In GMA, on the other hand, Alfred snatched the role to be KC Concepcion's boyfriend in the upcoming movie When I Met U. In both cases, it seems they never run out of projects in television, despite the fact that Jake is not really the best in the acting department, while Alfred seems to be past his prime.

Sounds obvious that the two actors in a spat lately were Jake and Baron Geisler. The network executive was listed as the one of the most powerful gays in the land because of his "power" in ABS-CBN.

In this interview, Ruffa rubbed in the importance of the ring given by RJ Calipus. Ram answered the question by telling her that it was a sign of their friendship, that RJ was thankful for all the help Ram gave him during the contest.

Armed with a great bod and boyish looks, Ram may take the route of former Big Bother housemates Zanjoe Marudo and Jon Avila as they are now making waves as ABS-CBN's most sought-after leading men.

Pinoy Fear Factor Episode 7: Jommy to Dance Naked

Pinoy Fear Factor episode 7 yielded the Coglarse Como Tarzan results. Those immune to the next challenge were Marion, Manuel, Phoemela and LJ.

Jommy and Janna are the worst performers for this challenge, so they will be up to accomplish the punishment. The group decided that Janna will host the event, while Jommy will the one dancing naked. Oh well, we'll have to wait for that tonight (again!?). Ho-hum...

I am starting to get slightly bored watching recent episodes of Pinoy Fear Factor. Why? The show's pacing is somewhat slow and it is obviously putting unnecessary sidelights just to stretch the precious time. Just to amuse myself here are some funny observations:
