American Idol 9 Top 24 Contestants Photos

Last night, 12 guys and 12 girls are declared to be in the official American Idol 9 Top 24 list. Next week, the Top 12 girls will battle it out first on Wednesday (February 24) in the Kodak Theatre. On Thursday (February 25) will be the Top 12 boys' turn. I think it will all be the same drivel in other American Idol seasons that each week, two guys and two girls will bid farewell until the American Idol 9 Top 12 contestants are chosen.

This year's batch of contestants are an interesting mix. We'll still yet to see if Mike Lynch won't be disqualified, but it seems Tim Urban is here to stay in lieu of Chris Golightly who allegedly had an old contract that's why he was kicked off the final 24 contestants. Neil Patrick Harris and Joe Jonas in American Idol Dallas Auditions

Another round in the American Idol auditions and tonight it's the turn of Dallas contestants. Neil Patrick Harris and Joe Jonas joined in as the fourth judge ine the first and second day American Idol 2010 Dallas audition.

Neil Patrick Harris is somewhat nicer than other former guest judges who appeared in these year's auditions. Will someone from the American Idol Top 24 leaked list appear in tonight's show? Here's the teaser of it:

Tasha Layton American Idol Baby Baby Baby

Tasha Layton was the first female who got the golden ticket in the American Idol Los Angeles audition. She sang her version of the Joss Stone song "Baby Baby Baby". What's unique about her is that she's a personal assistant by day and a minister by night.

Simon laughed off after she sang because he feels that when she gets the golden ticket for the Hollywood round, she'll break into "Oh Happy Day". Anyway, it's nice to see Katy Perry on the judge's table. Unfortunately, Tasha Layton did not make to the American Idol Top 24 Leaked List. Nevertheless, nothing is final until it's aired on TV.

Michael Lynche American Idol - Big Mike Lynche Out of Leaked Top 24

Michael Lynch American Idol or better known as Michael “Big Mike” Lynche, has been allegedly kicked out of the leaked list of American Idol 2010 Top 24 Finalists who survived the Hollywood round. This is because Michael Lynche's father violated a confidentiality clause when he excitedly announced to a local newspaper (The St. Petersburg Times in Florida) that his son has been chosen as one of American Idol 9's Top 24 contestants!

This is so unfortunate for Michael Lynch American Idol contestant! If you can recall, Mike's brother Marque Lynche also qualified up to the semifinals in 2004. It is part of the confidentiality agreement of American Idol that the singer/contestants and their immediate families must maintain a hush-hush environment about their status in the competition until the broadcast of the show. Oh well, let's bid better luck next time to Michael Lynche!

While the American Idol Season 9 is kicked off last January 12 and showing the leg of auditions it had, various American Idol fan sites have many speculations that the Top 24 contestants are already chosen. Paula Abdul's Fate After American Idol: Dimmer or Brighter?

Nobody is indispensible, especially on reality TV. Although American Idol executives felt that resident judge Paula Abdul is not worth almost 1/4 of the salary offered to the other judge Simon Cowell, opportunities are continuing to knock on Paula's door after announcing that she decided to leave America's most watched TV show. Is leaving the judge's chair in AI a fatal blow at her dreary career or will it spring greater opportunities for her?

Lately, Paula Abdul was offered to be a contestant or guest judge in Dancing with the Stars and another one from So You Think You Can Dance. Another offer sprung up allegedly from Ugly Betty, wherein Paula is offered a role in the new season at Mode. Well, if I am asked, the Ugly Betty role would be meatier since Ugly Betty is starting to lose pizzazz. Ugly Betty Season 4 will kick off on October this year! Props to you, Paula! We hope you can get a better job after Idol.
