Lil Rounds and Anoop Desai Eliminated in American Idol 4-22 Disco Week

The American Idol journey of Lil Rounds and Anoop Desai ends in American Idol April 22 2009 Disco Week. Lil Rounds faltered singing "I'm Every Woman" yesterday, while Anoop ventured in singing "Dim All the Lights". So, next week the competition gets tougher for American Idol Top 5 when there's barely a month more before the American Idol Season 8 Finals!

American Idol Results April 15 2009 - Who Was Voted Off?

American Idol 4/15/09 Results show is GOING ON right NOW! Who do you think will be voted off/eliminated tonight in American Idol after the Songs from the Cinema performances? Guesses have been zero-ing in to two names -- Matt Giraud and Kris Allen! Or, will it be Lil Rounds who will be sent home after talking back to Simon?

Ford Music Video was shown -- it was a tribute to the movies theme too! The American Idol Top 7 Finalists performed as a group "She's a Maniac" from the 1980's film Flashdance!

American Idol Results April 22 - Who Was Voted Off in American Idol Disco Week?

The double eliminations tonight on American Idol April 22 2009 will surely tense out our Top 7 finalists. The disco theme revealed to be a toughie for everyone and after the voting last night, everyone might just be too eager to know who's going home later to leave the American Idol Season 8 Top 5. Will it be Lil Rounds and Matt Giraud? Or will it be another shocker wherein the likes of Allison Iraheta or Danny Gokey will be kicked off?

NOTE: LIL ROUNDS AND ANOOP DESAI WAS VOTED OFF!

Ryan Seacrest does the intros – there were 45 million votes cast last night! Paula Abdul choreographs the American Idol Top 7 finalists group performance. They do a Jackson 5 song "Shake Your Body", which was definitely HOT!

The judges say they goodbye messages to Lil Rounds. Paula comforted her saying that “Lil, baby, you’re just on your way… just the beginning baby.” Simon said that she’ll definitely miss her family screaming for her, despite the bad decisions she made on the contest.

 

The disco icons perform – Freda Payne was first. Freda was a bit exhausted in her number because you could literally hear her panting. Thelma Houston was next singing “Don’t Leave Me This Way”. Then, KC of the KC and the Sunshine Band was intro-ed by Thelma. Watch their video here.

American Idol Predictions April 22 - Who Will Be Voted Off in American Idol Disco Week?

After the performance night comes our American Idol predictions of who will be voted off/eliminated on April 22 (4/22/09). American Idol Disco Week Performance Night has just proven what the Top 7 finalists have in store for us. A few performances were memorable like Kris Allen's and Adam Lambert's. The others were just verging on average and lackluster. Who do you think will land on the Bottom 3 of American Idol Disco Week?

In the Dial Idol predictions, they gathered that Allison Iraheta, Kris Allen and Matt Giraud got the lowest number of votes among the American Idol Top 7 finalists. Based on their data, Dial Idol presented that the two people who will be booted out/kicked off in American Idol Disco Week will be Allison and Kris. Essentially, Dial Idol predicted that none of them appears to be safe for Disco Week. Based on performance, the worst of the lot were Lil Rounds, Anoop Desai and Matt Giraud. Most people believe that Lil Rounds and Matt Giraud should be both be sent home on April 22. But, it seems in the Dial Idol predictions - Lil Rounds seemed to get the most number of voted tonight. Did the campaign of the Vote for the Worst (VFTW) pay off to make their bet stay? American Idol Results April 8 2009 - Who Will Be Voted Off/Sent Home?

After singing songs from the year they born, the American Idol Top 8 finalists will face a crucial question: who will be eliminated/kicked off/booted out/going home tomorrow night (4/08/09)? American Idol Top 8 predictions are now running around and we might as well join the bandwagon! Based on judges comments, it seems that the weakest performances of the night belong to Lil Rounds and Scott MacIntyre. However, in the Dial Idol Polls, as of 3 AM ET, Kris Allen, Anoop Desai and Scott MacIntyre are in the Bottom 3! Wow, I am wondering who would be packing his or her bags.. Fortunately, although Adam Lambert's turn to sing "Mad World" was cut off by FOX last night in the East Coast and other areas, Adam still managed to get much votes to propel him on top of the American Idol pack. If you ask me, I think Kris Allen or Lil Rounds just deserves to be voted off at this point. Although I think they aren't bad enough, well somebody needs to go home tomorrow right? Lil Rounds, especially, seems to be suffering a string of lackluster performances of late. Let's just see tomorrow if our predictions turn out right. American Idol Top 8 Results for April 8 2009 - Anoop Desai, Scott MacIntyre and Lil Rounds are in danger on the Bottom 3! Lil Rounds was declared safe and so as Anoop Desai! Scott MacIntyre sang Survivor’s “The Search is Over” , which was described by Paula Abdul as “screechy”, while Simon said he is atrocious with the guitar and the song choice!

It's so sad to see you go Scott! But the show needs to let go a contestant - which was supposed to be Lil Rounds! 

It was a CLOSE CALL of getting the judges' save privilege but it was just wasn't meant for you.

Oh well, I hope life goes on for you and you pursue your career in singing.

American Idol Top 13 RESULTS - Who Was Voted Off? (March 11)

American Idol Season 8 Top 13 (AI Season 8 Top 13) had already showcased their stuff. Now, these questions need to be answered: Who will be first to be voted off after AI Season 8 Top 13 results? Who will go home in shame? Who will be eliminated? Who will be the American Idol 8's first Bottom 3?



First, let us assess their performances:

According to DialIdol, Danny Gokey, Lil Rounds, Alexis Grace and Anoop Desai is sure to stay. Adam Lambert and Scott MacIntyre are also assured to stay. But the Bottom Three, based on last night's votes are Jorge Nunez, Allison Iraheta and Jasmine Murray. Most likely, DialIdol assumed that Jorge Nunez will be the one who will go home. Well, let's see if these predictions will come into reality later!

American Idol April 15 Predictions - Who Will Be Voted Off in Top 7? Who Will be in the Bottom 3?

American Idol Top 7 finalists will be shaved off to Top 6 on April 15 2009 (04/15/09). Predictions of who the Bottom 3 are and who will be voted off/eliminated are already splattered over the headlines after the "Songs of the Cinema" theme last night. At this point of the competition, it seems Adam Lambert and Danny Gokey are the only ones who can sit pretty without fear of being booted out. Dial Idol American Idol predictions suggest that Allison Iraheta, Matt Giraud and Kris Allen will be pulled out for the Bottom 3, with Kris Allen being the one strongly predicted to go home on April 15 2009!

Matt Giraud was Voted Off -- But was Saved -- Click To Know More!

However, Kris Allen fans need not hyperventilate yet because I think the "rightful" Bottom 3 for the April 15 eliminations in American Idol are Lil Rounds, Matt Giraud and Anoop Desai or Kris Allen -- with Matt being the one who "really, really" faltered to the brim in his "Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman" performance. Matt should be the one who should be sent packing his bags. Allison, on the other hand, did a superb job last night, but since her fan base is not huge -- she might be a shoo-in too for the Bottom 3. It’s anybody’s game at this point, right? So we all need to bid good luck to all our favorites and just pray they will be saved by the judges when they will be booted out! By the way, the judges are too finicky about their “save” privilege that it seems they don’t even want to give it at all!

American Idol Results 4/15/09 - Matt Giraud Saved by the Judges!

There was a major shocker in American Idol Results show April 15 2009 (04/15/2009)! Matt Giraud was the lucky one to be saved after he got the LEAST number of votes in the Songs from the Cinema week! The other finalists in the Bottom 3 were Anoop Desai and Lil Rounds.

What do you think? Does Matt Giraud deserve his "save" prize from the judges? I think he's getting voted off anyway as Simon confirmed he has NO CHANCE of winning American Idol Season 8!
