Most people believe that Lil Rounds and Matt Giraud should be both be sent home on April 22. But, it seems in the Dial Idol predictions - Lil Rounds seemed to get the most number of voted tonight. American Idol Top 13 RESULTS - Who Was Voted Off? (March 11)

American Idol Season 8 Top 13 (AI Season 8 Top 13) had already showcased their stuff. Now, these questions need to be answered: Who will be first to be voted off after AI Season 8 Top 13 results? Who will go home in shame? Who will be eliminated? Who will be the American Idol 8's first Bottom 3?

First, let us assess their performances:

1. Alexis Grace - Dirty Diana (Great!)
2. Michael Sarver - You're Not Alone
3. Danny Gokey - PYT (Pretty Young Thing) (Great!)
4. Kris Allen - Remember the Time
5. Adam Lambert - Black and White (Great!)
6. Allison Iraheta - Give in to Me
7. Scott MacIntyre - Keep the Faith (Great!)
8. Lil Rounds - The Way You Make Me Feel (Great!)

Well, let's see if these predictions will come into reality later!

American Idol 8: Hollywood Round Kicks Off

After journeying 7 cities, American Idol Season 8 engaged 147 golden ticket holders in the Hollywood Week elimination rounds. Although rumors of who made it in the top 36 has been circulating all over the web, we can never tell the outcome until we see it for ourselves.

So contestants gathered up in Kodak Theater in Hollywood where they met a mentor, Barry Manilow, to give them a few tips on how to make it through this round of the competition.

Yesterday's show covered up the first two days of the competition, where the golden ticket holders were divided into two groups. In each group, eight people will stand in front of the four judges and each will have only one shot to make it to the next round.

In the first group, the performances of Lil Rounds, Anoop Desai, Jasmine Murray and Stephen Fowler were the praised excessively by the judges. The scene-stealer like Dennis Brigham did not make it through and dissed Simon as being "cheap" -- referring to his choice of clothing.

On the second day, Jackie Tohn, Danny Gokey and Jamar Rogers were the most notable of the performances shown. Surprise, surprise.. Bikini Girl Katrina Darrel is still through to the next round.

Allin all, the dream is still alive with 104 hopefuls. Tomorrow, it is expected that tempers will flare up among the contestants as they battle each other on the Group round.

Bottom three contenders include Anoop Desai and Allison Iraheta! Also possible to be voted off are Scott MacIntyre and Matt Giraud.

Kris Allen Safe!
Matt Giraud is Safe!
Megan Joy Corkrey is in THE BOTTOM 3!
Lil Rounds is Safe!
Allison Iraheta is in THE BOTTOM 3!
Adam Lambert is Safe!
Danny Gokey is Safe!

Scott MacIntyre is Safe!

American Idol Results April 8 2009 - Who Will Be Voted Off/Sent Home?

After singing songs from the year they born, the American Idol Top 8 finalists will face a crucial question: who will be eliminated/kicked off/booted out/going home tomorrow night (4/08/09)? American Idol Top 8 predictions are now running around and we might as well join the bandwagon! Based on judges comments, it seems that the weakest performances of the night belong to Lil Rounds and Scott MacIntyre. However, in the Dial Idol Polls, as of 3 AM ET, Kris Allen, Anoop Desai and Scott MacIntyre are in the Bottom 3! Wow, I am wondering who would be packing his or her bags.. It's just too close to tell! Click here to see American Idol 04/08/09 Results Show videos!

UPDATE! Here's the link to know who got voted out of American Idol Top 7!

Fortunately, although Adam Lambert's turn to sing "Mad World" was cut off by FOX last night in the East Coast and other areas, Adam still managed to get much votes to propel him on top of the American Idol pack. If you ask me, I think Kris Allen or Lil Rounds just deserves to be voted off at this point. Although I think they aren't bad enough, well somebody needs to go home tomorrow right? Lil Rounds, especially, seems to be suffering a string of lackluster performances of late. Let's just see tomorrow if our predictions turn out right. You can post your comments below so that your voice can be heard, ayt?

American Idol 4/14 - Who Will Rise Above in the "Songs of the Cinema" Theme?

American Idol Performance Night is again in the offing April 14 (04/14/09)! Like you, I am wondering what song choices might the A.I. Top 7 finalists are selecting under the theme "Songs of the Cinema" with the critically-acclaimed director Quentin Tarantino as their mentor.

Honestly, tonight's theme can be quite tricky for the American Idol Top 7 finalists because their favorite movie's theme song might not just be the right choice for them. I guess Lil Rounds and Anoop Desai should be doubling their efforts this week because obviously they didn't fare well last week as they landed in the Bottom 3! I would really like to see Anoop take on some vocally challenging song that will highlight his capability -- Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger" might fit him. Lil Rounds failed in her Tina Turner mimicry last week, I guess Lil might want to do a Barbra Streisand or Whitney Houston - I dunno because I think she's losing her sparkle as the American Idol Season 8 advances. So there, who might do well or who might seal their fate in the American Idol Top 7 Performances April 14? It's for us to find out tonight!

American Idol April 15 Predictions - Who Will Be Voted Off in Top 7? Who Will be in the Bottom 3?

American Idol Top 7 finalists will be shaved off to Top 6 on April 15 2009 (04/15/09). Predictions of who the Bottom 3 are and who will be voted off/eliminated are already splattered over the headlines after the "Songs of the Cinema" theme last night. At this point of the competition, it seems Adam Lambert and Danny Gokey are the only ones who can sit pretty without fear of being booted out. Dial Idol American Idol predictions suggest that Allison Iraheta, Matt Giraud and Kris Allen will be pulled out for the Bottom 3, with Kris Allen being the one strongly predicted to go home on April 15 2009!

American Idol Results 4/15/2009 Live Blogging Here

My prediction was right! Matt is the one who got the least number of votes....

Matt Giraud was Voted Off -- But was Saved -- Click To Know More!

However, Kris Allen fans need not hyperventilate yet because I think the "rightful" Bottom 3 for the April 15 eliminations in American Idol are Lil Rounds, Matt Giraud and Anoop Desai or Kris Allen -- with Matt being the one who "really, really" faltered to the brim in his "Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman" performance. Matt should be the one who should be sent packing his bags. Allison, on the other hand, did a superb job last night, but since her fan base is not huge -- she might be a shoo-in too for the Bottom 3. It’s anybody’s game at this point, right? So we all need to bid good luck to all our favorites and just pray they will be saved by the judges when they will be booted out! By the way, the judges are too finicky about their “save” privilege that it seems they don’t even want to give it at all!

American Idol Disco Night 4/21/2009 - Who Will Reign Supreme?

After Matt Giraud was saved by the judges, the American Idol disco week is bound to emit tension among the among the American Idol Top 7 because two of them is due to be booted off. So there wouldn't be any Top 6 because next week you'll only see American Idol Top 5 finalists. Who will be the two unfortunate finalists who will be axed? American Idol predictions suggest that Matt Giraud, Anoop Desai or Lil Rounds will be in jeopardy if they still don't come up with a spectacular performance!

Definitely, the American Idol April 21 disco theme would suit well with Adam Lambert's repertoire. What fireworks would he come up with tonight?Adam Lambert has the pipes to do some Bee Gees hits. At this point, every contestant's song choice would be enough to help them stay in competition. Just stay tuned at this blog for more American Idol updates and I will still be live blogging about the latest happenings and American Idol 4/21/09 song spoilers.

American Idol hopeful Danny Gokey "I Hope You Dance"

One of the front-runners of American Idol Season 8 Danny Gokey wowed the judges today in his rendition of "I Hope You Dance". Who sang "I Hope You Dance"? It's an original by Lee Ann Womack.

Danny Gokey was the guy who cried in the auditions in Kansas City because he just lost his wife that time. He is friends with Jamar Rogers. Both are rumored to be in the top 36 in the American Idol Season 8.

Here's the portion of Danny Gokey's performance:

Here's the lyrics of "I Hope You Dance":

I Hope You Dance
by Lee Ann Womack
I hope you never lose your sense of wonder,
You get your fill to eat but always keep that hunger,
May you never take one single breath for granted,
GOD forbid love ever leave you empty handed,
I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean,
Whenever one door closes I hope one more opens,
Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance,
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance.

I hope you dance....I hope you dance.

I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance,
Never settle for the path of least resistance
Livin' might mean takin' chances but they're worth takin',
Lovin' might be a mistake but it's worth makin',
Don't let some hell bent heart leave you bitter,
When you come close to sellin' out reconsider,
Give the heavens above more than just a passing glance,
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance.

I hope you dance....I hope you dance.
I hope you dance....I hope you dance.
(Time is a wheel in constant motion always rolling us along,
Tell me who wants to look back on their years and wonder where those years have gone.)

I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean,
Whenever one door closes I hope one more opens,
Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance,
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance.

Dance....I hope you dance.
I hope you dance....I hope you dance.
I hope you dance....I hope you dance..
(Time is a wheel in constant motion always rolling us along
Tell me who wants to look back on their years and wonder where those years have gone)

American Idol Results 4/15/09 - Matt Giraud Saved by the Judges!

There was a major shocker in American Idol Results show April 15 2009 (04/15/2009)! Matt Giraud was the lucky one to be saved after he got the LEAST number of votes in the Songs from the Cinema week! The other finalists in the Bottom 3 were Anoop Desai and Lil Rounds.

What do you think? Does Matt Giraud deserve his "save" prize from the judges? I think he's getting voted off anyway as Simon confirmed he has NO CHANCE of winning American Idol Season 8!
